New York, November 23rd 2010 - With an average annual growth rate of 60%, the quantity of information and digital content production is anything but decreasing: in fact, the size of the digital universe is expected to double every 18 months.

Acer and Gateway are among the recipients of Japan’s Good Design awards, which have become a trademark for outstanding design and quality internationally. The winning entries are the Acer Aspire 8943G and Gateway EC39 notebooks, Acer Liquid Metal smartphone and Gateway FHD2303L LED monitor. A panel of 70 judges screened more than 3000 entries from around the world on their contributions toward society, culture and the global environment.
